Shared Services § Led an International
cross-functional project team consisting of 60+ associates to develop and
implement a solution to integrate a Brazil acquired company’s item file
system with Walmart’s item file system. § Commuted to Brazil on numerous
occasions to collaborate with business customers and team members to document
business requirements, solve business problems, and brainstorm ideas on how
to effectively integrate Brazil stores with Walmart systems. § Led an Infrastructure
cross-functional project team to develop, document, and implement a solution
to upgrade 3,700+ systems globally from Informix 11.5 to Informix 12.0
database software. § Collaborated with 10+
international countries to schedule outages to implement and test the
Informix 12.10 software upgrade, based on their countries availability and
preference. § Led a Security cross functional
project team, including vendor partners, to implement a solution to help
ensure Walmart customers’ credit card information is properly secured and not
illegally obtained by potential criminals. This enabled Walmart to
proactively avoid any fines and/or penalties associated with customer card
information being illegally obtained. § Led Infrastructure engineers in
the development of a mobile device which is used by Sam’s Club associates to
enroll potential new members in the field. § Led Infrastructure engineers on
the Store Number Expansion (SNE) project. This project removed the issue of
Walmart store numbers being exhausted within 3 years, and created the
opportunity for more than 10 billion store numbers to be generated worldwide.
§ Consistently deliver projects on
time and within budget, while leading and growing team members to reach their
full potential. § Consistently provide clear and
concise direction to team members, while simultaneously keeping project
stakeholders and senior leadership updated on projects’ risks, dependencies,
and successes. § Manage projects via Clarity,
Workbench, and Microsoft Project. § Led a team of 10 associates to
document roles and responsibilities for Project Managers, Program Managers,
and Resource Managers. This allowed for role clarifications for each role,
thus making each individual department more efficient in the work they were
to deliver. § Streamline the process for Project
Managers to have Infrastructure engineers engaged on their projects from an
average of 6 weeks to 4 days. § Led a core team of 18 associates
to consult and train 300+ Project Managers within 8 weeks on how to engage
Infrastructure engineers to work on their respective project(s). §
Prioritized
200+ Walmart US, Sam’s Clubs, and International projects to be worked on by
the Infrastructure department. This ensured that the Infrastructure
department worked on the right projects at the right time. §
Successfully
managed and led infrastructure engineers’ tasks and deliverables for 20+
Walmart, Sam’s Clubs, and International projects simultaneously. §
Utilized
Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Visio to define the role of a Relationship
Manager. As the Relationship Management role was new to Walmart, the
documentation proved to be beneficial to help provide role clarity for
associates new to the role. §
Developed,
implemented and lead a bi-monthly meeting for 50+ associates to understand
their role and responsibilities as a Relationship Manager to ensure we
delivered an exceptional and consistent level of customer service. This also
served as a forum to brainstorm process improvements where needed. §
Collaborated
with a team of associates to develop and implement a tool to generate a
weekly Infrastructure Resource Capacity report via Excel. This helped Project
Managers properly plan their project’s schedule within the boundaries of

with a cross functional team to architect, implement and test a VMware
vSphere virtual Windows server solution to be distributed to 50+ Walmart
